Barker's Exhaust will have all UTV exhaust systems on sale through December 31st, 2013.

Hey Barker FANS,

I wanted to give you some inside info on some awesome news.

Barker's Performance is in the final stages of completing our test facility.  YES, Barker's Performance is building one of the coolest test facility around.

Over the past 3 months we've been surveying and developing our new test facility and now we're in the final stages of completion.  On our property, we've built a great MX dirt track to use for testing our machines with our high performance exhaust systems.  As you know, it's not just about making a cool looking exhaust, but it's about making sure it works.  Not only making sure it works, but makes sick, arm yanking power.  

In the next couple weeks, we will be filming at the facility and will be posting it on our YouTube channel for all to see.  

It's been rumored that we may have the ability to open it to the public to use during business hours, BUT, that is just a rumor.  As you can imagine, some of the UTV, ATV and MX riders are pushing the owner to work diligently to make that happen and as soon as we know more, we will announce the news.  However at this point it's only for use for employee's for testing our products. 

I promise, I'm doing my best to push them to open it for all to use.  If any of you have suggestions on how to make the owner allow this, please contact me or send in an email through our website.  I'll be sure to use that info to convince him to make it come to fruition.

Hello Everyone, 

Since I’ve not had the opportunity to post something since my trip to the BMW Rally in Oregon.  It was important and definitely news worthy, that I bring up some great success that was recently brought to my attention.  One of our sponsored teams, Kendall Racing had some fun this past weekend and pulled off a second place in one of the toughest races in the series.  

Barker’s Performance would like to congratulate Kendall Racing for their recent success at the Nationally Acclaimed Pro B.I.T.D. Race (Best In The Desert – Reno to Vegas).  

It wasn’t without issues, but due to the strength, commitment and determination of the riders and it’s team members, Kendall Racing was able to pull off a very impressive second place.

Hey All,

Well we finally got here, had some exciting things happen along the way.  First off, within 5 miles after leaving, we ended up blowing the EGT sensor out of the manifold and had to go back to the house and fix it before we left, AGAIN.

Then in nowheresville Idaho, the fuel gauge must have stuck because of the heat and when I hit a huge bump on the highway it corrected, only to set off the low fuel light about 2 minutes before running out of fuel.  But even though we were in the middle of nowhere, we were actually only 2 miles from the next exit, so we were able to limp it to the truck stop and get some more diesel.  whew that was close. 

As I mentioned it was hot, not just hot but africa hot, Tarzan couldn't handle that heat.  During the day crossing the high plaines of Idaho and Eastern Oregon, it reached 102 deg. and windy.  When you got out of the truck it was like stepping into an oven, it was crazy how hot it was, OH, but it was a dry heat.  Dry heat my arse, hot's hot, dry or not.  

Anyway, we finally made it last night and got everything set up today with ease.  Having Matt and his son Nick along really helped out, not only with unloading but sure made the 3000+ mile drive much more bearable.  

Once we had everything set up, it gave me a chance to walk around the Rally grounds and do some networking.  I've several people ask about the new BMW Exhausts and everyone loved how durable they seemed.  Informed them that in the coming weeks we would be doing some intense testing to prove how durable these babies really are.  More to come on that....

Tomorrow will be the first official day of the Rally, the doors open at 9am and hope to have some great success.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Perry and I'm the new Sales and Marketing Manager for Barker's Performance and really excited about the new products we are currently developing.  

I'm also new to this whole blogging thing, so please bare with me.  

In terms of new products we are working on, one of those is the new BMW Adventure line of exhausts for a variety of the GS line of their motorcycles.  Often termed as the only motorcycle that can keep going even if the road stops.  Developed to ride anywhere, anytime.  So when we sat down to discuss the engineering of the this exhaust, we took into consideration the durability, longevity and over all toughness these bikes are known for, we were determined to develop an exhaust just as tough, reliable and durable.  

It's been a long haul, we spent nearly 6 months on the R&D of this exhaust.  All I can say is HOLY CRAP is this thing cool.  Not only that, but it sounds awesome, has that infamous Barker sound that can recognized anywhere.  

In addition to the launch of our new BMW Adv line exhaust, we are heading to the West Coast, Salem, Oregon for the 41st Annual International BMW Rally.  We are super excited about being there and showing off our new exhaust.  

However it's going to be a rugged road and exhausting (no pun intended, hehe) trip.  From our sales office here in Knoxville, TN.  It's just a short jaunt, some 2700 miles.  UGH!!!!  Sucks for me, but it should be fun for you guys, because I'm going to write about the trip, include pictures and hopefully some video.
