The exhaust is simple to install and will deliver that deep, throaty Barker's sound that will bring your Grizzly 550 to life. All of Barker's Exhaust Systems are made from premium materials that are hand-welded in the USA. The exhaust pipe is comprised of 304 stainless steel that is Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces. The can is made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish. You can also choose to have your cans powder-coated in a black finish for a more personalized look. Finalize your new Slip On Exhaust by selecting which color Barker's Tag you would like. The color options are black, blue, red, and yellow. A Strap Kit is included with your purchase to harness your new system to your machine.
One might also consider purchasing our Barker's Quiet Core Insert and Spark Arrestor. The Spark Arrestor will assist in keeping our trails safe by eliminating any flammable emissions from exiting the exhaust. The Quiet Core Inserts are ideal when riding in those sound-sensitive areas. The Barker's Quiet Core Inserts can reduce sound by up to 5 dB, and with a loss of only .5 to 1.5 horsepower, you just might want to ride with them all of the time!

MAINTENANCE:
We recommend that you monitor and check the packing in your muffler after every ride. The length and time your packing will last will vary depending on how and where you ride. When you first notice any sign of the packing depleting within the can, it's time for a repack. Packing will wear out slowly over time, starting at 100% packed. It is normal for an absorption style high-performance muffler to lose packing but once you lose more than about 10-15% of your packing it will deplete faster and faster since it can now move around in the can. It is imperative you do not allow the packing to deplete too far. If your muffler becomes very loud or you hear rattling around inside the can you have completely depleted the internal packing and should not ride the machine until the muffler is repacked with a fresh pillow. Order new packing before you need it!

Barker’s Exhaust provides a warranty on all exhaust systems for 1 year from the date of purchase to the original purchaser of the exhaust system. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects not caused by consumer damage.
Discoloration and blueing of exhaust pipes and mufflers are a natural result of tuning characteristics and not caused by a defect in manufacturing. Finishes with discoloration or rust due to inclement weather conditions and exposure to salt or chemicals are not covered.
Exhausts that are damaged by misuse, improper installation, modifications, incorrect tuning, impact, or crash damage will not be covered by the warranty. Exhausts that have incurred damage as a result of not being properly maintained or a lack of maintenance by the customer are not covered. Barker's reserves the right to determine whether the terms of this warranty have been voided. Exhaust systems that are not covered by warranty can be repaired by Barker’s Performance at the owner’s expense.
