With it’s powerful 449cc 5-valve DOHC engine, excellent chassis design, and comfortable ride, the Yamaha YFZ 450 is certainly an impressive machine. Whether you are taking on the trails or competing to win at the track, the YFZ 450 is ready, and willing to show you a good time! Though the stock machine is suitable for trail riding, only minimal modifications are necessary to make the YFZ 450 ready for competition. And thanks to Yamaha’s impressive design, the YFZ 450 accepts these modifications incredibly well!
When you are ready to take your Yamaha YFZ 450 to the next level on the trail or at the track, install a Barkers Full Single Exhaust System! Every bit of Barkers Exhaust Systems are made from premium materials that are skillfully hand-welded right here in the USA! Utilizing the hard work of human hands, each component that goes into a Barkers Exhaust System is produced and manufactured one-by-one by skilled craftsman. The head pipe portion of your new system is made of 304 stainless steel that is Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces for smooth flow. The can is comprised of 6061 grade aircraft aluminum and comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish. You might also consider powder-coating your can in a black or blue finish. For added character, select which color Barkers tag you would like on your new system. Tag color options include: black, blue, red or yellow. To harness the Full Single Exhaust System to your YFZ 450 you can choose either black, blue or red billet clamps.
Other options for this system include a Barkers Spark Arrestor and Barkers Quiet Core Insert. A Barkers Spark Arrestor will eliminate any flammable debris from exiting the exhaust and help to keep our trails safe! A Barkers Quiet Core Insert will reduce sound by up to 5 dB and is perfect when riding in those sound sensitive areas. Heck, with only a loss of up to 1.5 horsepower, you may want to ride with them in all of the time!
