BARKER'S ENGINEER COMMENTS:

"Being that we were so successful in creating horsepower on the Raptors, we were excited to see that Yamaha used the same motor in their Grizzly. The motor is set up slightly different for this sport/utility machine but it still loved the Barker's system on there. As you can see from the Dyno Charts, once you add the proper fuel required after installing the Barker's exhaust system, we achieved some pretty respectable numbers. As is the case with most of our exhaust systems, the fuel/air ratio will drop or lean out a bit due to the added flow delivered by our exhaust. A solid 4 additional horsepower with 3 ft-lbs. of torque gain was achieved once the system was properly tuned. This is why we always recommend professional tuning or adding a pre-loaded rule controller that have been specifically Dyno tuned for the machines. Thanks to EHS for the superb tuning they did on this machine for us; we highly recommend including their fuel controller for this system when placing your order."

Yamaha Grizzly 700 Dyno for 2007-2013 with Barker's Dual Exhaust vs Stock

THE FULL STORY:

If you need to get the job done right the first time, the Yamaha Grizzly 700 is the sport-utility ATV to help make it happen. With class-leading performance, agile and precise handling, and a powerful 686cc engine, Yamaha’s Grizzly 700 is ready to take down any task you throw at it.

If you want to take your Grizzly 700 to the next level, install a Barker's Full Dual Inframe Exhaust System. With a Barker's Full Dual Inframe Exhaust and a properly mapped fuel controller, your Grizzly 700 will gain up to 4 more horsepower and up to 3 more ft-lbs of torque! Installing a Barker's Full Dual Inframe Exhaust System will also achieve that deep, husky sound you’ve been searching for!

For optimal results, we highly recommend purchasing the EHS Fuel Controller. When you purchase the EHS Fuel Controller from Barker's, we have already pre-mapped the controller with the specific dyno data for your individual system. Having the EHS Fuel Controller installed alongside your new Barker's system will provide the much needed additional fuel flow to make your Grizzly 700 rip!

For even greater performance in one swift, bolt-on performance upgrade, we recommend our Yamaha Grizzly 700 Dual Exhaust EHS Big 3 Package for 2007-2013 Models. The big 3 package includes our full dual exhaust, an EHS Racing EFI Fuel Controller pre-mapped for this configuration, and an EHS Racing Flow Through Intake Lid. Achieve up to 8 horsepower over stock and increased performance overall for your 2007-2013 Grizzly 700 with this complete setup.

Every system that Barker's produces is made from premium materials that are hand welded right here in the USA. The exhaust pipe portion of the Barker's Full Dual Inframe exhaust is made from 304 stainless steel that is Tig welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces. The cans are comprised of 6061-grade aircraft aluminum and come in a brushed aluminum finish. You can choose to have your cans powder coated in a black finish. Personalize your new Barker's system by selecting which color Barker's tag you would like. You can choose either black, blue, red or yellow tags. Brushed billet clamps will be included with your purchase to harness your new system to your machine.

At Barker's, we have an extreme amount of dedication and respect for the off-road lifestyle. And we understand that owning and maintaining a performance vehicle is no joke. That is why you can expect only the best in Barker's craftsmanship and design. All Barker’s exhaust systems carry a limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials. See Barker's Terms & Conditions.

OPTIONS:

Other features you might also consider for your new system are the Barker's Quiet Core Inserts and the Barker's Spark Arrestors. The Quiet Core Inserts will reduce sound by up to 5 dB and are ideal for riding in those sound sensitive areas. With only a loss of .5 to 1.5 horsepower, you may decide to ride with them in all of the time! The Barker's Spark Arrestors will assist in trail safety by eliminating any flammable emissions from exiting the exhaust.

MAINTENANCE:

We recommend that you monitor and check the packing in your muffler after every ride. The length and time your packing will last will vary depending on how and where you ride. When you first notice any sign of the packing depleting within the can, it's time for a repack. Packing will wear out slowly over time, starting at 100% packed. It is normal for an absorption style high-performance muffler to lose packing but once you lose more than about 10-15% of your packing it will deplete faster and faster since it can now move around in the can. It is imperative you do not allow the packing to deplete too far. If your muffler becomes very loud or you hear rattling around inside the can you have completely depleted the internal packing and should not ride the machine until the muffler is repacked with a fresh pillow. Order new packing before you need it!

The Barker's Exhaust Complete Repack Kit is designed to make repacking your Barker's Exhaust Can simple. *NOTE: If you have a dual system you will need to purchase 2 repack kits.

Suggested add-ons: EHS Fuel Controller, Quiet Core Insert; Spark Arrestor; Complete Repack Kit.
