THE FULL STORY:

The Kawasaki KFX 450 is an off-road beast! Whether you’re tackling the dunes or racing to win at the track, the Kawasaki KFX 450 delivers an exceptionally fun and thrilling experience. With its top notch control, precise handling, incredibly potent 4-stroke 449cc, DOHC engine, and aggressive style, the KFX 450 is a beast! If you ride a Kawasaki KFX 450, you are sure to be turning some heads!

Unleash your Kawasaki KFX 450 with a Barkers Full Single Inframe Exhaust System! Installing a Barkers Full Single Exhaust System is the easiest, most cost effective solution to enhance your machine. Attain more horsepower and torque across the entire power curve while eliminating that sudden fall-off that afflicts most stock systems near redline. Attain that deep, throaty signature Barkers sound you’ve been missing and feel your Kawasaki KFX 450 come to life when you install a Barkers Full Single Inframe Exhaust System!

Each and every Exhaust System that Barkers manufactures is made of premium materials that are hand welded right here in the USA. While most other after market exhaust systems can be produced robotically, Barkers Systems must be skillfully hand welded one-by-one. The exhaust pipe portion of your new system is comprised of 304 stainless steel that is Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces for smooth flow. The can is made of 6061-grade aircraft aluminum and comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish. For added flair, you can choose to have your can powder-coated in a black finish. Further customize your new system’s look by selecting which color Barkers tag and billet clamps you would like. The tags can be either black, blue, red or yellow. And the color options for the billet clamps are black, blue or red. The billet clamps are what will harness your new system to your machine.

Other options that one should consider are the Barkers Quiet Core Insert and Spark Arrestor. The Barkers Quiet Core Insert can reduce sound by up to 5 dB and is ideal for those sound sensitive areas. Besides, with a loss of typically .5 to 1.5 horsepower, you may want to ride with them in all of the time. The Barkers Spark Arrestor will help to keep our trails safe by eliminating any emissions of flammable debris.

For serious riding, we recommend purchasing a fuel controller for your new system. As your new system will require the added fuel flow, a fuel controller is essential for your KFX 450 to obtain peak performance. For optimal results, your dealer or a skilled technician should program the fuel controller prior to installation. We highly recommend the EHS Racing EFI Fuel Controller and offer a pre-mapped version for your convenience. You can learn more about the EHS Racing Fuel Controller, here. If you are interested in learning more about why you should purchase a fuel controller, please feel free to call us. We promise you will talk to a real person who knows all about it!

At Barkers, we have an extreme amount of dedication and respect for the off-road lifestyle. And we understand that owning and maintaining a performance vehicle is no joke. That is why you can expect only the best in Barker's craftsmanship and design. All Barker’s exhaust systems carry a limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials. MAINTENANCE

We recommend that you monitor and check the packing in your muffler after every ride. The length and time your packing will last will vary depending on how and where you ride. When you first notice any sign of the packing depleting within the can, it's time for a repack. Packing will wear out slowly over time, starting at 100% packed. It is normal for an absorption style high-performance muffler to lose packing but once you lose more than about 10-15% of your packing it will deplete faster and faster since it can now move around in the can. It is imperative you do not allow the packing to deplete too far. If your muffler becomes very loud or you hear rattling around inside the can you have completely depleted the internal packing and should not ride the machine until the muffler is repacked with a fresh pillow. Order new packing before you need it!

The Barker's Exhaust Complete Repack Kit is designed to make repacking your Barker's Exhaust Can simple.

Suggested add-ons: Quiet Core Insert; Spark Arrestor.
