"The new round can looks awesome and gave the finishing touch to our race quad. We also noticed the clamp was easier to put on with the round can when compared to the oval design. It also gave the quad a sharper sound and felt more torque at the touch of the throttle. This gave us a huge advantage through the rocks and the sandy whoops around the San Felipe loop. The installation of the exhaust went smoothly and everything bolted right up. We just love the way the new round design looks, especially with the two-tone anodized exhaust cap. We could distinguish the sound of our quad through mountains and the wide open desert when it was coming hot into the pits. It just sounds much more powerful than any other exhausts the competition was running. It still looks brand new after 515 miles of racing Baja!"

Each and every system that Barkers Performance produces is made of premium materials that are hand welded right here in the USA! While other after-market exhaust systems can be mass produced from automated assembly lines, Barkers exhausts systems are hand-welded one-by-one by skilled craftsmen. The head pipe portion of your new system is made from 304 stainless steel that is Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces for smooth flow. The can is comprised of 6061-grade aircraft aluminum and comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish. For a more customized look, you may choose to have your can powder-coated in a black or red finish. You may also select which color Barkers tag you would like. Tag color options are black, blue, red or yellow. To harness your new system to your machine you may choose black, blue or red billet clamps.
Other features are available for your new Full Single Exhaust System as well and include the Barker's Quiet Core Insert and Barker's Spark Arrestor. The Barkers Spark Arrestor will eliminate any flammable debris from exiting the exhaust and will help to keep our trails safe! When riding in those sound sensitive areas, the Barkers Quiet Core Insert will help to reduce sound by up to 9 dB. Heck, with a loss of only .5 to 1.5 horsepower you might want to ride with them in all of the time!

MAINTENANCE:
We recommend that you monitor and check the packing in your muffler after every ride. The length and time your packing will last will vary depending on how and where you ride. When you first notice any sign of the packing depleting within the can, it's time for a repack. Packing will wear out slowly over time, starting at 100% packed. It is normal for an absorption style high-performance muffler to lose packing but once you lose more than about 10-15% of your packing it will deplete faster and faster since it can now move around in the can. It is imperative you do not allow the packing to deplete too far. If your muffler becomes very loud or you hear rattling around inside the can you have completely depleted the internal packing and should not ride the machine until the muffler is repacked with a fresh pillow. Order new packing before you need it!
