When purchasing your Barker's 2006-2014 Honda TRX450R exhaust system, you have the option of choosing between a round can or an oval can design. The round can feature a brushed aluminum (silver) billet clamp or a black clamp option. The oval can design features a black, blue, or red billet clamp option.

Every one of Barkers Exhaust Systems is made from premium materials and are handcrafted right here in the USA! While many other after-market exhaust systems can be mass produced from large assembly lines, Barker’s Exhaust Systems are hand-welded one at a time by skilled craftsman. The head pipe portion of your new system is made from 304 stainless steel that has been Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces for smooth flow. The can is comprised of 6061-grade aircraft aluminum and comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish. You might, however, decide to customize your new system by selecting which color powder-coat you would like for your can. You can choose either a black or red powder-coat finish. Further customize your new system by choosing which color Barker's tag and billet clamps you would like. Barker's tag color options include: black, blue, red or yellow. The billet clamps will harness your new system to your machine. You may choose black, blue or red billet clamps for your new Full Single Exhaust System.  

Additional options for the Full Single Exhaust System for your Honda TRX 450 are the Barkers Quiet Core Insert and Barkers Spark Arrestor. The Barkers Quiet Core Insert will reduce sound by up to 5 dB and is ideal for riding in those sound sensitive areas. Heck, with a loss of only .5 to 1.5 horsepower you may even choose to ride with them in all of the time! The Barkers Spark Arrestor will eliminate any flammable debris from escaping the exhaust and will help to keep our trails safe!

MAINTENANCE:

We recommend that you monitor and check the packing in your muffler after every ride. The length and time your packing will last will vary depending on how and where you ride. When you first notice any sign of the packing depleting within the can, it's time for a repack. Packing will wear out slowly over time, starting at 100% packed. It is normal for an absorption style high-performance muffler to lose packing but once you lose more than about 10-15% of your packing it will deplete faster and faster since it can now move around in the can. It is imperative you do not allow the packing to deplete too far. If your muffler becomes very loud or you hear rattling around inside the can you have completely depleted the internal packing and should not ride the machine until the muffler is repacked with a fresh pillow. Order new packing before you need it!
