The Yamaha YFZ 450 boasts an excellent chassis design, powerful 449cc 5-valve DHC engine, and comfortable ride. Needless to say, the YFZ 450 is an excellent trail sport ATV that is ready to take on just about any terrain! When you are looking to add a bit more power to your machine, Yamaha has designed the YFZ 450 to take modifications incredibly well.
If you want to take your YFZ 450 up a notch, yet want a cost-effective solution to do so, install a Barkers Single Slip On Exhaust! Easy to install and easy on the wallet, the Barkers Single Slip On Exhaust System will provide that little needed magic to your YFZ 450 to take it up a notch. Gain a little more horsepower and increase performance throughout the entire power-curve, plus, achieve that deep, throaty Barkers sound you’ve been missing when you install a Barkers Single Slip on Exhaust System.
All of Barkers Exhaust Systems are made with premium materials. The exhaust systems are skillfully hand welded one at a time right here in the USA. As most other after-market exhaust systems are mass-produced on automated assembly lines, Barkers exhaust systems are handcrafted by skilled craftsman. The pipe portion of the Single Slip On Exhaust System is made of 304 stainless steel that is Tig-welded with seam-reduced interior surfaces for smooth flow. The can is comprised of 6061 grade aircraft aluminum and come standard in a brushed aluminum finish. For added character you can have your can powder-coated in a black or blue finish. Select a black, blue, red or yellow Barkers tag to further customize your new system. To harness your new system to your machine, select which color billet clamps you would like. Billet clamp color options include: black, blue or red.
Additional add-ons for your Single Slip On Exhaust System include a Barkers Quiet Core Insert and Barkers Spark Arrestor. the Barkers Spark Arrestor will help keep our trails safe by eliminating any flammable debris from exiting the exhaust. The Barkers Quiet Core Insert will reduce sound by up to 5 dB and is great for riding in those sound sensitive areas. And with only a loss of typically .5 to 1.5 horsepower, you may want to ride with them in all of the time!
