Barker’s Quiet Cores are designed to reduce peak decibel levels by a small but measurable amount (typically 1–3 dB depending on system and packing condition) while maintaining strong performance and safe exhaust flow.

These inserts are engineered to reduce peak decibel output while maintaining proper exhaust flow and engine performance. They are not intended to return the exhaust to stock sound levels.

Available Sizes

• 1-Inch Standard Quiet Core – Fits most Barker’s Exhaust Systems (Quietest Option)
  • Most single exhaust systems (Example: 250cc, 350cc, 400cc & 450cc)
    
• 1.5-Inch High Flow Quiet Core – Required for Snowmobile and Single Exhaust Systems over 500cc.
  • (Examples: Honda TRX700XX Single Exhaust, Raptor 700 Single Exhaust, Grizzly 700 Slip-On Exhaust)
  • The larger size allows for proper exhaust flow to reduce heat buildup in the muffler. Using a 1-inch core on these systems can cause excessive heat and prematurely break down the exhaust packing.

  • (Example: RZR800, RZR900, Raptor 700 & Grizzly 700 dual exhaust systems)

Important Details

• Sold individually — Dual exhausts require the 1" quiet core kit (Pair)
• Includes an integrated spark-arresting screen
• Can be added to any Barker’s exhaust can, even older systems
• Expect a small horsepower reduction of about 0.5–1.5 HP
• Some riding areas require a Spark arrestor & Quiet Core — please check local regulations
